Fayaz Usmani

Hi, I’m Fayaz. I currently work with a venture fund that raised $30M to support startups in the web3 space. I believe in backing founders with ideas that can meaningfully impact the world - and using design as a tool to communicate and amplify that vision.

I led the rebrand and end-to-end design of Wander wallet - shaping everything from the name and identity to the interface and in-app animations. With over 100K installs, $1B+ in volume, and adoption across 95% of ecosystem apps, Wander is a strong example of how thoughtful design can drive access and usability in decentralized systems.

I was also the lead designer for an AI-powered research platform used by teams at Mars, PepsiCo, TD Bank, and BMO, helping them move faster from insights to action.

I fell into design during my business degree, obsessing over improving decks, websites, and user flows before I knew what UX was. That curiosity turned into a career. Outside of work, I enjoy long bike rides, drawing, and watching UFC - and occasionally shooting videos.
