Overview

Sago is a global research leader trusted by brands like PepsiCo, Mars, TD Bank, and BMO. As the company evolved from a research vendor to an AI-powered insights platform, I helped shape that transition through the design of new features for Methodify—Sago’s flagship self-serve research product.

My contribution focused on making the platform more adaptable, automated, and globally accessible through modular content systems, bilingual UX flows, and AI-driven research tools.

Flexible Content Options

We redesigned the foundation of how research is delivered inside Methodify.

Stakeholders no longer wanted just static surveys - they needed mixed media, side-by-side comparisons, and video playback. I created the design direction to implement a modular system that allowed teams to upload various formats (image, text, audio, video) and review multiple concepts at once. This flexibility allowed global clients to run rich, multimedia tests - while keeping the interface clean.

Multilingual Research at Scale

Methodify’s users included researchers and brand managers across Canada and the U.S., many of whom needed to present data in both English and French.

I worked with the team to streamline the bilingual experience - ensuring translated versions stayed in sync with original responses, and building UI affordances to manage language toggles cleanly. From question wording to executive summaries, every element was optimized to present data clearly in both languages without fragmenting the user journey.

AI-Powered Automation

We introduced a set of AI features designed to streamline the research process, reduce manual effort, and help users reach insights faster.

AI-Generated Analysis Reports

Instead of sifting through spreadsheets or raw exports, researchers can now generate polished analysis reports with a single click. These reports structure and visualize key insights automatically, saving hours of work and enabling faster decision-making.

AI Summaries

Long-form responses are automatically summarized into short, digestible insights - highlighting trends, patterns, and sentiments in real time. This helps teams quickly scan large datasets without losing depth or nuance in the feedback.
