Wander
Overview
Wander started as ArConnect - a simple browser extension used to sign transactions. It quickly became the default wallet for an emerging decentralized ecosystem. As the product grew past its utility-first origins, we saw the opportunity to transform it into a modern, AI-powered, cross-platform wallet that would onboard new users, enable discovery, and support intelligent automation.
I led the design direction across the full rebrand, from the name and visual identity to product UX, interface design, animations, and onboarding. We expanded the browser extension into a mobile wallet on iOS and Android, added an embedded dApp browser for in-app exploration, and introduced AI agents - allowing users to automate wallet tasks like yield strategies or token conversions.
The goal was to make the platform feel intuitive, beautiful, and intelligent -while preserving user control.
As a result of our work
- Wander now supports over $1B+ in asset volume
- Installed across 100K+ wallets
- Became the default onboarding tool for new users
ArConnect → Wander
The rebrand from ArConnect to Wander was about repositioning the product as a canvas for exploration.
The name Wander reflects freedom and curiosity, symbolized through a visual identity inspired by a folded paper boat, a mountainous trail, and the shape of a star. The visual system brings consistency across mobile and extension, while fading into the background to serve the user’s journey.
We also introduced a new onboarding flow, helping users understand how to interact with the wallet while showcasing key design principles: ease, visibility, and delight. This extended to the smallest details — like dynamic token tooltips, new wallet switching, and polished animations throughout the experience.

We also developed a robust brand guide to ensure consistency across marketing, product, and community touch points – complete with iconography, usage rules, and theming guidelines.
Designing a mobile-native search experience within Wander
We began by taking Wander from a browser extension to a full-featured wallet on iOS and Android. Next on our roadmap was to take it one step further with Explore. With this update, we wanted to fully embrace the evolution of Wander as an active hub for discovery and connection.
Explore embeds a browser directly into the mobile app, allowing users to search, browse, and launch apps without ever leaving the interface. The experience is mobile-first, seamlessly integrated, and mirrors the fluidity of the desktop browser extension, transforming the wallet into a gateway for on-chain exploration.
Native Search
We made the search bar the center of the app—no tabs or menus. Just open Wander and search like Safari or Chrome. Fast, familiar, and frictionless.

Explore Apps in Wander
We curated the explore page for easy discovery: featured apps, categories, favorites, and history. New users find direction, power users stay fast.

Seamless connection
Users can select an account, set custom permissions, and get started - without ever leaving Wander. No context-switching, no friction.

Automating Wallet Logic with AI
We introduced Agents to help users automate actions inside their wallet. Users can set up rules to automatically convert a percentage of their daily earnings into another token, configure them to run on a schedule (like daily or indefinitely), and manage all active agents from one unified dashboard.
